Grant agreement for the project design of the automated ticket collection and control in the integrated transport system has been signed

The project was submitted to a restricted call by the Ministry of Sea, Transport and Infrastructure (ref. no.: TR.1.2.25) within the Transport Operational Program 2007-2013.

On 21 November 2016, after the assessment of the project proposal (administrative verification, assessment and verification of plausibility), the Ministry adopted the Decision on Financing, and afterwards, on 20 December 2016, the Grant Agreement was signed. The Agreement provides grants from the European Regional Development Fund up to a maximum amount of HRK 316,200.00, which makes 85% of the eligible costs of the project.

The goal of this project design was to screen the current status of the ticket collection and control process, including the inventory count and review of technical features of the devices, their operation, manipulative and other procedures currently used in sale, validation and control of tickets of the current transport providers in the area where the introduction of the integrated passenger transport is planned.

Based on the analysis of the current status and good practice examples, the project defines the criteria and minimum functional and technical requirements of the system for collection, validation and control of tickets, the appropriate models of equipping the system with the apparatus, and relevant technologies and platforms for the ticket collection, validation and control that include the basic technical characteristics of the devices and equipment for the collection, validation and control of tickets, as well as the types and forms of tickets. The project design also provides the main features of the central information system, which is used as the integration platform, and the surveillance system, as well as the main stages and cost assessment.
