Under the provision of the Article 3 to the Agreement on integrated transport and the shipping tariff in the area of the City of Zagreb, Zagreb County and Krapina-Zagorje County with reg. No. 48/12-I signed on June 4, 2012 between the City of Zagreb, Zagreb County and Krapina-Zagorje, an obligation of establishing a company Integrated traffic of Zagreb area Ltd. or „Integrirani promet zagrebačkog područja d.o.o. or IPZP d.o.o.“ (Hereinafter the Company) is undertaken.
The founders of this Company are the City of Zagreb with a share of 60%, Zagreb County with a share of 25% and Krapina-Zagorje with a share of 15%. Company’s headquarter is in Zagreb, Park Stara Trešnjevka 2.
The Master Plan is a fundamental strategic document based on the analysis of the current situation and development of the transport model in the area of City of Zagreb, Zagreb County and Krapina-Zagorje County. This analysis will determine the state of the transport system and the need of improving traffic to this area with particular emphasis on improving the public transportation.
Integrated passenger transport is a model of passenger transportation, which is based on a common operators’ tariff in scheduled passenger transport in the wider area of service, where there are several forms of transportation, and transportation companies.
